I have weakness for liking these sort of paintings. A lost temple with a lonely tree. It places itself in one's emotions in many sorts of ways. It can being lost, lonely, foreboding, even a sense of adventure on the other end of the spectrum. With a ray of sunlight coming over the mountain as a ray of hope shining on the tree.
